Opening Statement

At the beginning, before I read the course overview: Reading As A Writer, I think the only thing that we need to do is reading. After re-reading the syllabus, I was able to understand what I learned as an English student.  When I re- read the phrase “ reading as a writer”, Reading As A Writer introduces to how to make the ability to analyze and respond critically to the text. I knew the purpose of the writing class. From this class, I learned that the main point is about how to follow “ they say/ I Say” to write an essay.  Moreover, this way taught me how to improve the body paragraphs or how to organize the essay. With this useful knowledge, I hope it can bring me success in the future writing.
